You can volunteer!

We greatly benefit from volunteers and would love to help you find a way to connect. To volunteer with New Hope Academy, contact Volunteer Coordinator, Dana Andrews at DAndrews@NHAFranklin.org. She can discuss your areas of interests and help match you to a position.

Volunteer Opportunities

List of 5 items.

  • Serve Lunch

We use volunteers to serve hot lunch to students each day. It’s a fun way to interact with the kids and get to know them.
  • Outdoor Yard Maintenance

We are blessed to have our campus on 19 acres, including a wilderness area. But all that adds up to a lot of upkeep during the warm months. We can regularly use assistance keeping the lawn mowed and hedged, maintaining our nature trail, garden care, and more. If you enjoy being outdoors this may be a good fit for you. Come alone or get a group and tackle one of our larger outdoor projects.
  • Share Your Talents with the Students

For example, bankers have come to teach our after-school kids about saving money, banking, etc. Do you play guitar? Teach golf? Love science? Love books and reading? There are so many ways that you can get connected.
  • Event Assistance

We host multiple events and fundraisers throughout the year and are in need of volunteers to successfully operate each endeavor.
  • Volunteer as a Group

We have had wonderful success partnering with The Boy Scouts, Tractor Supply Company, churches, and others. Just let us know how you would like to organize a group effort.
