Run for Hope

Run for Hope appeals to all fitness levels and is a team that raises funds for New Hope Academy while participating in the annual St. Jude Rock ‘N’ Roll Nashville Marathon (formerly Country Music Marathon) held Saturday, April 29, 2017 this year.

Run for Hope team members choose to run or walk the 5k, half or full marathon. Our team includes fans of our artist partners (TobyMac, Hollyn and Mr. Talkbox), New Hope Academy parents, family members, friends, members of area churches, employees of area businesses, as well as individuals from the community. Run for Hope is New Hope Academy’s premiere annual fundraising event. Proceeds from Run for Hope help New Hope Academy fund more than $1,000,000 in annual scholarships and provide a bright future to more than 100 children each year.

We are on a mission to turn racial division, class segregation and spiritual poverty into community, possibility, and vision, igniting hope and bringing lasting transformation to our community.

Run for Hope Perks and “Swag”

We provide our half-marathon participants with exceptional, comprehensive weekly training.  Additionally, we offer participants a unique transformational experience from the inside out, resulting in lasting physical, emotional and spiritual transformation.  Best of all, we offer a top-notch, race-week experience. Depending on the fundraising level you choose, participants have the opportunity to attend our exclusive team Pasta Party and Artist Partner Concert.  All team members receive VIP treatment at the race start and finish, and we give you the experience of a lifetime.

Your commitment

Each of our participants is required to raise a predetermined amount based on which team you sign up for and ranging from $500 to $1,000. We make fundraising easy with tips, sample letters and emails. Each participant receives a race jersey, team t-shirt, free training and a finish line party at the Nissan Stadium Club (Tennessee Titans Stadium). Additional swag is available when you upgrade to qualifying levels.
