Academics: Science

It is our desire to allow students to explore and discover the created world around them in order for them to better know God.

A child should be in awe and wonder of God’s creation; its beauty, complexity, diversity, intricacy, and majesty. Our desire is to give children ample time to interact with the world around them through direct observation and accurate recording.

Observing, collecting, and noticing enhance a child’s appreciation and understanding, which, in turn, produces the love of learning. Our approach to Science is primarily through observation and through chosen books that open up the wonder and excitement of the created world.
