Applicants for Pre-Kindergarten should be at least four years old by September 1.
Applicants for Kindergarten should be at least five years old by September 1.
Order of Consideration
To best fulfill the mission of New Hope Academy, the order for consideration for enrollment is as follows:
- Re-enrollment of current students.
- Low-income students. Each grade will maintain at least a 40 to 50 percent enrollment of students from low-income families. Openings for low-income students will be held open in pre-kindergarten through second grade if the 40 to 50 percent requirement is not met. Staying true to our mission, the Board of Directors may determine to exceed the percentage of low-income students at any time.
- Children of current teachers.
- Siblings of existing students. Admission in this category is based on the length of time a sibling has been consistently enrolled at NHA.
- Children of present board members.
- Children of past board members and teachers serving at least two years.
- Students on waiting list.
*The Admissions committee reserves the right to define low-income status.
